Terry has been after me to update my blog. We have had really lousy weather since leaving Louisiana and I haven't felt much like posting. It's been cold and windy and the last day has been rainy. Yuck. I am ready for warmer weather.
We spent the last four days in San Benito, next to Harlingen. It wasn't a bad place, and we did get in a lot of shopping in Harlingen, but it started raining yesterday and it turned into a mud bog where we were parked. We began to think from the discussion at coffee this morning, that we shouldn't try to get out until the rain stopped and it dried out. Yuck. But luckily we had not had more rain overnight and with the wind we were having, it dried out the ground and we were able to make it out. We left ruts and a trail of mud, but we did indeed get out.
We drove on over to Mission and got parked right behind Mom and Dad. This is by far the best campsite ever. :-)
Life is good.
Till next time. . .

Sure hope it's warmer there! Been in the low 20's the last two nights - burrrrr. I'm so ready to head west, but then I hear it's not a lot better, well, maybe a little.
Mark is back at Rainbow. He said if he had known that ya'll were coming here he would have stuck around for a few more days. I get the feeling that he is staying East this winter.
See ya in Feb. as Casa Grande.

It would have been good to see Mark. It's been in the 40's here at night and I am freezing, but it's better than 20. Suppose to start warming up tomorrow, I think.

Have fun in Mission. Are you staying there for Christmas too?
Oh btw, here are pics of the kids. Enjoy!

Hey, Carie, good to hear from you. Yes, we will be here through Christmas. And I already saw the kids' pictures, but thanks for sending me the link. I set up Mom's computer earlier today and got all her email and there they were!

So, when are you planning on heading west? We are leaving Livingston around the 5th of January, westbound. Maybe we can meet up someplace?
When we leave here the first of the year, we are headed for Yuma. Terry says we will be there around the 5th of January. Then we are headed up toward Lake Havasu. Back down to Casa Grande for the Gypsy Journal rally. Keep in touch. . . you know how plans change.
